Frequently asked questions

Answers before your first step

Starting therapy can bring up a lot of practical questions. These answers are here to make the process feel clearer and a little less overwhelming.

How do I start therapy with Be Inspired Counseling?

Start with the initial appointment page or contact the office by phone or email. You can share basic preferences like location, age range, insurance or private pay, and whether you have a preferred provider.

Do I need to know which provider I want before reaching out?

No. You can request a specific provider if you already have someone in mind, but you can also choose no preference. The office can help think through availability, location, specialty areas, and fit.

What happens during the first appointment?

The first appointment is usually a chance to talk through what brings you in, what support you are hoping for, and what goals might make sense. You do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive.

Do you work with children and teens?

Yes. Be Inspired Counseling has providers who work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Provider profiles include available fit cues such as age range, common concerns, specialties, and location.

Which locations can I choose from?

Be Inspired Counseling has offices in Stoughton and Mansfield, Massachusetts. Some providers may also offer telehealth. The appointment flow lets you share a location preference.

What insurance do you accept?

The practice lists Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO, PPO, Federal, Anthem, and private pay. Insurance benefits and provider participation can vary, so contact the office if you are not sure where your plan fits.

Do I need to complete every form on the Forms page?

No. The office will let you know which forms are needed. You do not need to complete every form unless staff specifically asks you to.

Can I use the website for urgent or crisis support?

No. This website is not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911 or 988 now, or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I am not sure whether therapy is right for me?

That is okay. Many people reach out while they are still unsure. The first step can simply be asking questions, sharing basic preferences, and learning what support could look like.

Not sure where to start?

The appointment flow lets you share basic preferences without needing to know the exact service, provider, or next step.
